Noted environmentalist and water conservationist Rajendra Singh, popularly known as the “Waterman of India,” visited Sikar, Rajasthan, on 14 October 2024. During his visit, he delivered insightful lectures to the students and teachers of Prince Edu Hub and Vidya Ashram School in Sikar.

His lecture focused on the importance of water conservation, sustainable usage of water resources, and the need for collective efforts to combat the ongoing water crisis. Emphasizing the significance of traditional water management practices and community-driven solutions, he inspired young minds to take proactive steps toward saving water.

Later, through a press conference, Rajendra Singh addressed the people of Sikar, urging them to adopt water-saving measures and create awareness about the criticality of preserving water for future generations. His visit served as a powerful reminder of the role everyone can play in addressing water scarcity and promoting environmental sustainability.

Jain Temple Khoor

A rainwater harvesting system has been installed at the Jain Temple in Khoor, reflecting the temple’s dedication to environmental stewardship and water conservation. This system efficiently collects and stores rainwater, which can be utilized for various purposes, including sanitation and groundwater recharge and specially for our Jain saints who use only Rain water. This rain water is not as hand as ground water.
